The Wonderful News!!

I have honestly never been pregnant in SL, but I have known people who were and been there when the baby was born. This time around it is my sister Clara, and brother Outlaw who is having the baby and I admit freely that my excitement over this pregnancy is very high.

I already have four nieces and two nephews, so adding to the family tree is exciting. I went with Clara and Outlaw to their first clinic visit, but this second visit was even more anticipated because we were finding out the sex of the baby.

For me I was hoping for a girl, I love spoiling little girls with decorations and outfits etc. But be sure there were plenty of bets going around as to what it would be.

When Clara, Outlaw, Tilly and I got to Tranquility Maternity Clinic we were tp'd to the exam room by Clara's doctor, Dr. Ana Capalini-Nadir. She saw Clara her last visit and was very sweet and caring.

She took Clara's weight (no one peeked) and blood pressure. Both were perfect proving that Clara was in great health!

After getting all the vitals she laid Clara on the exam table and began the ultra sound. As we cracked jokes about the sex of the baby to fill the gap of silence- Dr. Ana took her time to make sure she got the right information for us.

She announced to all that it was a GIRL!! Yeay! I thought, a little girl to spoil! Outlaw and Clara were beaming with the news. Tilly was excited as well as she munched on her chocolate chip cookie.

So the Bludstone family will be welcoming a little girl come September. We along with all our friends are excited. I do know though, come September I will have a Mesh outfit ready for my sis to change into after the birth. She says the number one problem with being pregnant is not having enough mesh clothes to wear. And that most outfits she buys has to be edited for her shape. So I will have one handy ready for her to enjoy!

Spinning

So I haven't had a chance to blog in a bit because of a bunch of changes that have happened. Almost a week ago now, Outlaw and I split. It is a long story and it really hurts. We are still trying to remain friends as we are so close and I know that I for one, do not want to lose him from my life completely. I haven't been able to really express things which is another reason I haven't blogged about it. I needed the time to get my head around what happened and be able to put it in a way that made sense. When you fall for someone in SL, it does happen that things RL can come between. In a sense that is actually the biggest reason for the split. I am hurting but I have also realized the support system I have right now. One thing IRL (in real life) that I found out was when things go south in a relationship, you lose people around you for one reason or another they bolt. It is kind of a kick in the gut. I am sure it happens this way in SL as well but at this time, I honestly felt so much love. I fell into a very bad depression from the break up as my feelings were very much RL for Outlaw. My SL family, once they found out, came around me and have been helping me get back on my feet. I have been doing everything I could to keep busy with their help including spending a lot of time with the Bloodlines Clan I am in (look for a future post on this).

So Outlaw and I did find out about the sex of the baby but you all have to wait until the post late this week which is going to be done by Sadie. She was with us along with our daughter Tilly when we found out.

I am now 25 weeks along and so excited for the birth! We do have another appointment to discuss delivery and a final ultrasound. We also will decide on the date and time for the delivery. One of the beautiful features of SL is that most deliveries are scheduled!! It is so that everyone you want there, can be there. Of course Outlaw is still here for the baby through it all. He has helped me select a name and everything. I am sure the appointments and seeing him will be difficult but time will heal this and I am just glad hes sticking by me. One thing in second life that I have seen and it has happened to me is that when a break up happens and the woman is pregnant, either they just take off their huds or if they have the babies, the men are long gone, want nothing to do with it anymore. Unfortunately that is what happens because there is nothing keeping them there. I have known people to just act like it never happened.

Outlaw is still very much wanting to be involved but only if I was okay with it, which I am.

So other then that, I also left my job as a manager and went back to hosting at Ohana's Rock Club. I just didn't really need the added stress. I also didn't want to bury myself in work. The management job was also how I met Outlaw in the beginning and holds a lot of memories. With the new job, I also moved onto a new parcel, I built my own home, and have been getting that set up. I will be moving again next month though once I save a bit. This week I adopted 2 new children into my family. Darin rp (role plays) a 17 year old teenage boy and Savannah rps a 4 year old little girl. Both are very much a good fit into our family. Darin has joined forces with Tilly to make sure they drive me nuts! I came home to a flooded bathroom last night. Savannah is just a sweetie who LOVES exploring!! I am sure future blog post will contain more about the kids as well as rekindled friendships.

I have rambled enough for the night though and have a 6am SLT (Second Life Time which is 3 hours behind my time zone((EST))) set at Ohana's. Hugs & Love.
